Original Characters

A list of characters created exclusively for Batman: The Animated Series.

This list includes only characters that did not have previous comic book counterparts. Thus, characters like the Clock King or Count Vertigo should not be included, even though they might be different from the printed counterpart.
This list is also exclusive for prominent villains or supporting characters. Henchmen and incidental characters that appeared in only one episode should not be included.
