Maurice LaMarche is a Canadian American voice actor and former stand-up comedian. He is best known for his voicework in Futurama as Zapp Brannigan's beleaguered assistant Kif Kroker, melodramatic soap acting robot Calculon and other characters; The Brain in Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain, and Egon Spengler on The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters. He portrayed a minor character in Batman: The Animated Series.
