1. No, it was not in the book. I checked.
2. Yes, it was in the movie, (although as Kathleen, not "Catherine") but anyway, The Killing Joke has nothing to do with "Batman: The Animated Series" or "The New Batman Adventures". It is not even part of the DC Animated Universe.
Just because Conroy, Hamill and Strong reprised their roles in the film, doesn't mean it's set in the same universe. There is literally no relation between that movie and the TV series, so anything that happened in that movie doesn't apply to the BTAS characters.
Hi. You know, that sounds like a bigger project. Maybe we can create a new page for all the international dubs of the series instead of making single pages for each actor. The page could be called "International Voice Actors" and we can just include the names of the actors from all languages. Let me know what you think of the idea and I'll help you create the page.
Because your edits, despite being useful for the most part, are sometimes breaking infobox names and links. And that makes me believe you are not actually editing. Either you are running a well programmed script, or you are damaging credits intentionally. Either way, it's unnacceptable.
I noticed and it's great, but that excuse doesn't make sense when you "edit" and add the number "7" to Gregory Wright's name in the credits, or you change Maxie Zeus' name, breaking the link. Those are not typos, you know.
TBH, there is not a specific law for this case. Scripts and Screenplays are fully copyrighted, yet there are hundreds of sites on the internet that post such copies.
A transcript however, is not the script, but a transformation from the VO into text. While some might claim that the VO is a reproduction of the screenplay (which is copyrighted); a transcript is different enough, since it doesn't reproduce the copyrighted material direcly.
There are several niches on the internet that are blatantly breaking copyright laws and who knows if they're making revenue out of it, but they're certainly going unpunished. We're not even making money out of this, and we are not the only wiki around trying to cover as much material without infringing the law.
All wikis are pretty much covered by the fact that we're non-profit. Worse thing that could happen, we get a DMCA notice to remove copyrighted content, and removing those pages can be done in the blink of an eye. But, do you think Warner Bros would really go to such leghts to take on us? I don't think so.
Yeah yeah, I'm a plagiarist, but it can be fixed adding links to the stuff I used. I'll get to it asap. A copy however, no matter how good, is still a copy. And no matter how canon or not, copies always turn to stone.
Although sometimes, copies are better than the original, wouldn't you agree?
Hi Nep! Yeah! It would be a great thing for both wikis. Well, it might be mostly good for this one, since the current affiliations are not exactly related or as big as Gotham Wiki.
I remember a while back people mentioning that this wiki was just terrible and I decided to change that, because I love the show. I'm really proud of how it has evolved. However, it has been just me doing it all.
Considering that there's still tons of work to do and I'm just one man and there's also the DC D, an afilliation with Gotham Wiki, an ongoing show (and a strong one), might be helpful to boost the views and contributions on both wikis.....ok enough rambling.
Fixed, forgot to put the "w:c:" in front of it! Also, do you like this http://nepworld.wikia.com/wiki/Special:WikiActivity background? I didn't know whether or not you'd want a change of backgrounds, but I went ahead and make you another one in photoshop, just incase you wanted to!
There. It looks good actually. The only downside is that when using Desxtop XL (Higher than 1700x1000px) I can actually see where the image ends on the sides. It's ok for desktop users, but it kinda looks bad for people with "batcomputer" monitors.
I can fix that! I forgot to make the necessary changes so it looks good on XL computers. Also, you might want to change the wiki's spine color from red, to black, so it blends in with the wiki background.
Well, you see, I feel like we need more information about the episodes in general. I've been looking other TV Series Wikis and have found something that could improve the episode pages a lot. In one word: Tabs.
I decided to go with Tabs, because personally I find it very annoying when pages are too long and you have to scroll down a lot to get all the information. It's not attractive and I do lose interest when there's too many information. Tabs help distribute the information in sub pages that can be long or short and you can find what you're looking for more easily.
I decided to give the tabs a change of colors, because we're already too red and black....we don't wanna look like some communist s**it or something....jk.
Tell me what you think about it, I can use some feedback.
PS: I also changed Talk Pages to Message Walls. Hope you don't mind.
