Reviews[]
Soundtrack editor, Daniel Schweiger stated the following:
"Walker's turbulent score captures Bruce Wayne's awaking to a not-so-wonderful life, the questioning of this "happier" existence played by a motif for low, altering flutes and trilling horns. 'Perchance' also allows Walker to rare opportunity for melodic tenderness in a gentle variation of her Batman Theme, and the stately brass of Wayne Manor where Bruce's parents still walk. But that happiness is short-lived as Walker's music becomes progressively more agitated, building to a stormy symphonic fight between Bruce and "Batman" at the bell tower. Clangling brass follows Wayne's seemingly suicidal jump back into reality, and out of the mind-controlling machine of the Mad Hatter, a character given a deceptively playful theme for flutes and strings."
