In 2014, Peter Tomashek, the composer, made this statements for the as part of the 3rd Volume of Original Soundtracks from Batman: The Animated Series.
- I tried to score the show from Robin's perspective as a burgeoning hero. I created a dark and broody theme tha transforms into something more corageous by the end. The entire score is mostly generated from variations on this theme. Special thanks to Bill Stromberg for helping me in a pinch.
