Twitch was one of Batman's informants.
History[]
Twitch was a small-time crook who ran errands for the Society of Shadows as they were setting up operations in Gotham City. He thought he was meeting a friend of his on top of the Statue of Freedom in Gotham's harbor, but it was instead Batman, who pressed Twitch for information on the Society of Shadows. Twitch was only able to reveal minor details to Batman before two Society assassins appeared. Batman fought off one, but the other threw Twitch off the statue and into the river below.

- Bruce Timm has mentioned that Twitch's appearance bears a passing resemblance to Tim Burton. However, since storyboard artist Brad Rader was working ahead of the character designers, he designed Twitch during the storyboard process based off of Dustin Hoffman's portrayal of Ratso in the 1969 film "Midnight Cowboy".
